The Kosovo Banking Association donates 90 Electronic Signature Pads to the Ministry of Health

To facilitate the vaccination process and to increase the data security of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, the Kosovo Banking Association has donated 90 Electronic Signature Pads to the vaccination centers for all municipalities in Kosovo.

The Electronic Signature Pads will be made available to all health personnel immediately, to facilitate the vaccination process which has already begun. The Electronic Signature Pads are devices that are used to obtain an electronic or digital signature which facilitates and speeds up the registration process of the vaccinated citizens.

On behalf of the Kosovo Banking Association, the donation was delivered by the Chief Executive Officer Mr. Petrit Balija and was received by Dr. Faik Hoti, Head of the Public Communications Division at the Ministry of Health.

Mr. Balija said that this donation represents important assistance from the banking sector in the vaccination process and comes in the wake of many other donations that the banking sector has made in combating the pandemic. Balija thanked health workers for the tireless work that they have done during the pandemic and he also emphasized that the banking sector will continue to provide support with other donations until the complete overcoming of the pandemic.

The donation was received by Dr. Faik Hoti, Head of the Public Communications Division at the Ministry of Health, and Drin Podrimqaku, Advisor at the Ministry of Health, who thanked the Banking Association for the provided support. Mr. Hoti said that a donation of this kind is more than necessary at this stage of the vaccination process which aims to increase the number of vaccinated citizens.

This donation is supported by commercial banks in the country, members of the Kosovo Banking Association.
