The Kosovo Banking Association with the support of the European Fund for Southeast Europe Development Facility (EFSE DF) and commercial banks in Kosovo will organize educational and informational activities from 21 - 27 March 2022 to mark Global Money Week 2022.

This year KBA brings many new and various activities that will be organized during this week. Global Money Week will be marked in three cities of Kosovo where various activities will be held such as: organizing a competition where primary school students will compete in the "Penny drop" game; packages with educational materials which will include a workbook - "Learning about money",; workbook with pencils and crayons, a coloring book - "Money in illustrations" will be distributed, as well as savings boxes for primary school children in the cities of Pristina, Prizren and Mitrovica, where kids will also have opportunities to take photos and have fun with mascots.

Global Money Week 2022 in Kosovo is part of a global awareness campaign on money and financial education in general. Countries around the world are participating in raising awareness of the importance of financial education and overall financial inclusion for children and young people. This educational campaign is organized in cooperation with the OECD International Network on Financial Education, which leads the overall coordination of Global Money Week 2022. This international movement aims to provide financial education and financial inclusion for all children and young people worldwide so that future generations can better manage personal finances as a precondition for higher well-being.

The Kosovo Banking Association marks the Global Money Week annually as part of the corporate social responsibility agenda and financial inclusion in Kosovo as common values ??of the Association's member banks.
