Kosovo Banking Association in cooperation with VISA concluded the information campaign "Digital payment options for small businesses"
Kosovo Banking Association and Visa announce the conclusion of their joint awareness campaign, "Digital Payment Options for Small Businesses." The campaign, which was launched during the period of April-June 2023, aimed to inform small and medium businesses across Kosovo about the advantages and opportunities presented by offering digital payment options, which include increased security, faster payments, convenience, competitive advantage and improved cash flow. Throughout the campaign's duration, KBA and VISA collaborated with various stakeholders, including merchants, employees and the general public, to raise awareness regarding the topic.
The "Digital Payment Options for Small Businesses." used a comprehensive strategy. By creating engaging and informative content, the campaign captured the attention of a broad audience. Through social media posts, interactive videos, workshops and informative articles, KBA shared valuable tips and insights on various topics related to the importance of having the digital payment options as a small or medium business and reached a wide audience. Over the course of the campaign Kosovo Banking Association also conducted on-site visits to local businesses across Kosovo. The team visited a number of different businesses spread across different cities, including Prishtina, Prizren, Ferizaj, and Gjilan where 103 employees participated in workshops and had the opportunity to learn more about the importance of offering Digital Payment Options as a business.

The value of cashless transactions resonated with many business owners who operate in Kosovo, where they expressed their enthusiasm for the convenience, security, and efficiency that is offered by POS systems. Of particular significance was the positive response from SMEs that had not yet been equipped with digital payment options. Many of these businesses, which had previously hesitated, expressed interest in adopting these payment solutions because of the informative sessions and personalized approach of the campaign.
