Kosovo Banking Association begins activities to mark the Cyber Security Month: Stay safe online, every click counts!
October is Cyber Security Awareness Month. Campaigns are launched around the world every year in October to promote cyber security awareness and best practices among individuals, businesses and organizations. The main goal of Cyber Security Awareness Month is to educate people about the importance of cyber security and help them become more vigilant and secure in their online activities.
During Cyber Security Awareness Month, Kosovo Banking Association has planned the launch of informative materials in the form of videos on local televisions and social networks of KBA. These videos prepared in collaboration with a cyber security experts contain different messages that will be made available to the public to raise awareness about cyber security threats and provide guidance on how to protect against them. The topics that will be covered in the video are: phishing emails, multi-factor authentication, data protection when shopping online and the importance of setting strong passwords.
