The Legal Committee of KBA has elected the new Chairman and Vice-Chairman

The banking sector in Kosovo is one of the most regulated and transparent industries in the private sector. Due to this, the KBA Legal Committee is essential to the process of advocating for a fair and transparent legal and regulatory framework that is in line with the Acquis Communautaire and a framework that supports the further growth and development of the banking sector in Kosovo.

During the meeting held on September 15^th, 2022, representatives of the KBA member banks voted Mr. Partin Pruthi, Head of Legal at TEB Bank as Chairman of the Committee, while Vice-Chairman of this committee was elected Mr. Kastriot Jelliqi, Legal Expert at Credins Bank.

This Committee is one of the permanent committees of the Kosovo Banking Association which has an advisory function for the management of commercial banks in Kosovo, on all issues related to legal matters. The mandate of the Legal Committee is to discuss, share relevant experiences and information among committee members and advocate on legal issues to establish and improve primary & secondary legislation environment in the banking sector.
