Physical safety in the banking sector is considered to be good

In a way to raise the level of security in the banking sector so that banks, their personnel and citizens have a safer environment for their daily activity, it is important to have a close cooperation between the banking sector and security institutions. In this regard, the Kosovo Banking Association held the regular meeting of the inter-institutional of working group, which is part of the Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Central Bank of Kosovo and the Kosovo Police whose purpose is to raise the level of safety in the banking sector.

During the meeting, special attention was given to the physical safety during the transportation of cash and further advancement of forms of communication between bank branches and police stations in the country.

KBA representatives thanked the representatives of the Central Bank of Kosovo for their support and the Kosovo Police officers for their commitment to increasing safety measures around the areas and inside bank branches. It was assessed that these police activities have helped to increase the safety level in the premises of bank branches.
