Kosovo Banking Association concludes Global Money Week

The last activity for Global Money Week took place in the city of Podujevë, at the "Dëshmorët e Kombit" school. In Podujevë we met excellent students who surprised us with their knowledge and wish to participate in our educational activities on money and savings.

The children learned new information about money, financial institutions, the importance of money management and savings. Although young, children demonstrated their ability to make wise financial decisions in group games. They shared with us their experiences as little costumers and their efforts to save money in their savings banks. The activities ended with music, dancing and gifts.

Financial education for children is essential for equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to make informed financial decisions, achieve financial well-being, and navigate the complexities of the modern financial world. Learning about money management instills a sense of independence and responsibility in children. They learn to take ownership of their financial decisions and understand the consequences of their actions, which are valuable life skills.
