The Legal Committee of the Kosovo Banking Association has elected its Chairmanship

The representatives of member banks of the Kosovo Banking Association have elected the chairmanship of the Legal Committee, with Mr. Partin Pruthi, Head of Legal/Head Office at TEB Sh.A. being chosen as chairman, and Mr. Kastriot Jëlliqi, Senior Legal Officer – Legal Department at CREDINS bank Kosova, as vice-chairman.

The Legal Committee plays a key role in promoting a fair and transparent legislative and regulatory system. Its mandate includes discussions, the exchange of experiences and information among members, and advocacy for the improvement of legislation related to the banking sector.

Additionally, the committee plays a crucial role in ensuring that banks in Kosovo comply with the highest legal and regulatory standards. Through the analysis of new laws and regulations affecting the financial sector, the committee identifies challenges and opportunities, offering recommendations that help improve the regulatory environment. This collaborative process, based on the expertise of bank representatives, contributes to the stability and sustainability of the banking sector.
