New Board of Directors of Kosovo Banking Association is elected

The Kosovo Banking Association today held the General Assembly meeting, whereupon it chose the new chairmanship and Board members for two-year term (2019-2021).
At this meeting, by unanimous vote on the position of the Chairman of the Board was elected Mr. Albert Lumezi, Chief Executive Officer of NLB Bank while Vice Chairman of the Board was elected Mr. Robert Wright, Chief Executive Officer at Raiffeisen Bank Kosovo.

Chief Executive Officer of KBA, Mr. Petrit Balija welcomed the election of the new Chairman of the Board, Mr. Albert Lumezi and Vice President Mr. Robert Wright, emphasizing that they will jointly work for the benefit of the banking sector and clients of Kosovo banks and all stakeholders. Members of the Board, with the right to vote, were confirmed: Mrs. Eriola Bibolli - CEO ProCredit Bank Kosovo, Mr. Fatos Krasniqi - CEO Economic Bank, Mr. Arton Celina - CEO Bank for Business, Mr. Orcun Ozdemir - CEO TEB, Mr. Meriton Sunduri – General Director at Ziraat Bank – Kosovo Branch, Suat Bakkal – CEO BKT Kosovo, Alper Karakoç – General Director of IS bank – Kosovo Branch.

During this meeting, among other things, were discussed also the Draft Law on Banks and other topics of relevance for the banking sector, while it was highly appreciated the current KBA's work in banking sector representation.
