The General Assembly of the members of Kosovo Banking Association concluded a very successful year.

2022 was a truly exceptional year for the banking sector. It was a year of record growth and expansion. As we recovered from the Covid 19 consequences we saw a double-digit growth in deposits and assets and a new bank was licensed and started operations in Kosovo. Non Performing Loans remained low with high coverage in Loan Loss Provisions and banks continued to stay well capitalized and liquid.

In the last meeting of the General Assembly of Members of KBA for this year, we reflected on the challenges and achievements of 2022  by reaffirming our cooperation and vision towards new milestones for banking in Kosovo with the common goals for an innovative, sustainable, secure and inclusive banking system in Kosovo.
