Conference “Strengthening Corporate Governance in Albania and Kosovo: Sustainability Reporting and Increased Role of the Audit Committees”

Kosovo Banking Association through its Compliance Committee participated in the regional
Conference “Strengthening Corporate Governance in Albania and Kosovo: Sustainability
Reporting and Increased Role of the Audit Committees”, held in Tirana.

The aim of this regional conference was to raise awareness on the new European Sustainability
Reporting Standards, international developments in the field of corporate sustainability
reporting and on the increased role of the Audit Committees.
During the conference experiences and practical insights were exchanged from local and
international perspectives on how corporate governance could be strengthened by considering
sustainability reporting issues and the role of the Audit Committees.

The conference was organized by The World Bank.
