The "Sustainable Finance Forum" is successfully concluded

This forum served as a vital platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences among participants to help shape a common stance on sustainable finance. During the discussions and presentations at this forum, experts and participants shared success stories, challenges, and lessons learned on the path to sustainable finance.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Kosovo Banking Association, Mr.Petrit Balija in closing remarks at the forum, #emphasized the importance of collaboration and learning from the experiences of others. In doing so, he encouraged participants to share and learn from successful practices worldwide to achieve success in this critical field. He reiterated that the banking sector is ready for collaborations that support the growth and sustainability of Kosovo's economy, stating, "The banking sector has played an essential role in supporting the wider economy. By providing financial support to businesses, they have helped sustain employment levels and facilitated economic recovery, therefore for us it is important to mobilize financial resources to build a positive impact, not only due to climate change but also in our social context in order to increase the welfare of our society and to ensure access of our banks to sustainable funding sources”.

This successful forum further raised awareness of the importance of Sustainable Financing, an awareness that in the future will help build a more sustainable society and environment for all of us.
