The Risk committee functions under the jurisdictions of the Kosovo Banking Association has the advisory function for the management of commercial banks in Kosovo that deal with various issues that attribute to risk management. Some of the objectives of the Risk Committee are to identify, analyze, and coordinate issues related to risk and related to the banking sector and to propose solutions; organize various activities in which banks have common interests; contribute to improving the environment for the operation of commercial banks; facilitate collective communication between banks, government institutions, and regulatory authorities; ensure that member banks are informed of all the initiatives in any way that could affect banking activities, and contribute to the improvement of risk operating environment of all commercial banks.

The Risk Committee is chaired by Mr. Mirsad Haskaj, Chief Risk Officer at NLB Bank and vice chair Mrs. Kaltrina Hasani, Deputy Risk Management Group Head at Banka Kombëtare Tregtare.
