The Finance Committee plays an important role in the coordination of many aspects of financial management that the banking sector faces in Kosovo. This committee addresses issues related to financial reporting, tax legislation, pensions, and financial and operational implication. Precise implementation of this legislation and addressing adequately the issue related to their implementation in practice is a commitment of this committee.  

Implementation of CBK laws and regulations governing the framework of financial reporting and financial oversight of the banking sector is another issue that takes a special place in the agenda of the Finance Committee. The Finance Committee is a partner of CBK and other institutions in addressing different issues of interest for the development and drafting of regulations and laws governing financial and economic aspects of banking sector activity.  This committee also serves as a linking bridge between banks to cooperate and share information on key financial indicators for both members and the Board of the Association, but also for other stakeholders and the broader public.

The Finance Committee also plays an important role in the identification of requirements for professional development and proposes training that has an impact on the skill development of bank workers in various aspects of accounting, taxation, financial reporting, IFRS, or general financial management. The Finance Committee contributes to improving the operational environment of commercial banks in Kosovo and supports this sector to keep up with the most recent developments.    

The Finance Committee is chaired by Berat Isa, Chief Financial Officer at Banka Ekonomike.
